My role is to recognize those moments before they disappear. I want your photographs to capture more than how your wedding looked. They should bring back how it felt: the excitement before walking down the aisle, the emotion in your family’s eyes, the laughter during the reception, and the people who surrounded you on one of the most meaningful days of your life.

Every album begins with a blank canvas. I personally design each spread without premade templates, stock photography, or generic backgrounds.
The textures, architecture, lighting, reflections, bokeh, and meaningful details photographed during your wedding can become part of the album’s design. Each visual element connects the finished album to the atmosphere and identity of your wedding day.
The photographs are arranged with intention so the album unfolds as a story. Quiet moments have room to breathe, emotional sequences flow naturally, and important portraits receive the visual impact they deserve.
The result is a one-of-a-kind, artist-designed heirloom created entirely from your wedding story. Couples who have viewed my sample albums often tell me they have never seen a wedding album designed this way.

I have also photographed a destination wedding at the Grand Plaza Beachfront Resort & Conference Center in St. Pete Beach, Florida.
Outdoor weddings can provide extraordinary scenery, but they can also create some of the most demanding lighting conditions a photographer will encounter.
At the Grand Plaza Beachfront Resort & Conference Center, I photographed a beach wedding in bright, open sunlight, then transitioned to sunset portraits. I carefully managed the direction and intensity of the light to preserve natural skin tones, important background details, and the color of the sky without allowing the couple to disappear into shadow.
I encountered another challenging sunset environment at The Fields of Taylorsville. The groom, who was also a photographer, asked detailed scenario-based questions about how I would handle changing light before selecting me. After seeing the finished photographs, he and his family were extremely impressed. His family shared that they had wondered whether he would ever find a photographer whose lighting knowledge and work met his expectations.
I have also worked where flash photography was restricted, including a wedding at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral and sessions inside the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. In these environments, I study the existing light and use ambient, window, and reflected light to preserve the natural atmosphere. When additional equipment is permitted, I can introduce controlled or bounced light with intention.
During a maternity session at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden’s GardenFest of Lights, rain shifted the session close to nightfall. I used the surrounding holiday lights and creative lighting techniques to produce photographs that felt luminous, colorful, and magical.
Whether I am working inside a venue where flash is restricted, outdoors in intense sunlight, or after sunset surrounded by city or decorative lights, I look for creative solutions that preserve the mood of the environment while keeping people and emotions at the center of the photograph.
My familiarity with notable Virginia properties extends beyond wedding celebrations.
At The Estate at River Run, I have photographed maternity and boudoir portraits, commercial projects, and magazine cover assignments. I have also photographed model, engagement, commercial and business sessions at Main Street Station, as well as boudoir sessions and events at The Jefferson Hotel.
At the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, I have created senior portraits and prom sessions while working within the location’s photography restrictions. I would love the opportunity to bring that familiarity to a wedding at the VMFA.
I also photographed an elegant, upscale birthday celebration inside the Science Museum of Virginia. The rotunda was transformed into a refined, fairy-tale environment. I approached the event with the same storytelling attention I bring to a wedding—capturing the design, atmosphere, meaningful details, and guest interactions.
